The owners of this lovely Cornish cottage contacted us to work on the design and planning package for an extension to their property. Located in an amazing spot, surrounded by vegetation and leading to a beautiful stream at the bottom of the plot… one of those little gems that makes you really enjoy your job!
We proposed a re-layout of the ground floor, extending the property to achieve an open plan feeling and allow for the introduction of a new storey under the raised roof area. Planning permissions were granted which means our clients can now enjoy more comfort and space in their property, to accommodate their family. We were also appointed to carry out the technical design and compliance with Building Regulation for the project, which was due to start on September 2019.
Update February 2020 – The building is now finished, and the results are looking great! We recently had a site visit and could chat with our clients, who are loving their improved home. We loved it too!
